A Cartoon Design WORKSHOP in the event: “Caminho do Livro”
In Porto Alegre / RS!

Day 04 July 2009, from 13h, there will be a workshop in Cartoon Design taught by the teacher and illustrator Marcos Pinto.

The site is in front or the North American Cultural Institute, located at “rua Riachuelo” street, number 1257.

The activity is part of the event programming “CAMINHO DO LIVRO”, pioneering event that occurs once a month and is sponsored by the Book Chamber of Rio Gande do Sul(which also promotes the International Book Fair in Porto Alegre since 1954).

“Caminho do Livro”*

Is the name that receives the portion of “Riachuelo” street between “Borges de Medeiros” avenue and “General Câmara” street - it is the result of the partnership signed between the Municipality of the City of Porto Alegre and Book Chamber of Rio Grande do Sul ( “Câmara RioGrandense do Livro” or: “CRL” ).

The event can always be visited this Saturday( July 4th, 2009 ), from 10h to 16h.

This program is integrated with the Department
of Municipal Planning (SPM), which aims to revitalize the central area of the City.

For the installation of post sale and promotion of cultural activities the street will be blocked, ensuring the flow of vehicles just for residents and traders of the named street.
